Yes, up to the number of researcher accounts in the table above. They share one participant allowance across all your studies.
A participant counts once they have answered their first notification-based or user-initiated survey. The onboarding survey, which usually collects consent and demographics, does not count. People who sign up but never respond do not count.
Each person counts once per licence period, however many surveys they answer and however many of your studies they join. Researchers on your team do not count as participants.
Removing a participant does not lower your count, and participants you did not use do not carry over when you renew.
Nobody is cut off mid-study. We email you as you approach your limit and leave some room above it, so a wave of data collection is never broken. To take on more participants, upgrade at any time and pay only the difference. Your renewal date does not change.
Your licence has to be active while you are collecting data. Pausing a study does not pause the licence. We email you before the end date and keep sending for a short while after it, so a forgotten renewal does not cost you data.
If a study runs past your end date, renew to keep going. Its participants count again in the new period. The six-month Researcher option covers the same 500 participants over less time.
At any time. Your licence runs to the end of the period you have paid for, so nothing stops in the middle of a study, and it does not renew after that.
Your survey responses are stored in your own Qualtrics account, so the data is yours for good. The MindSampler tools stay available for 90 days after your licence ends.
By card, or by invoice. Tick “Pay by invoice” above, choose your plan, and you get the invoice and its PDF there and then, with our bank details on it and 30 days to pay.
Your licence starts as soon as the invoice is raised, so you are not waiting on your finance office to begin collecting data.
Yes. Tick “Pay by invoice” and type your purchase order number; it is printed on the invoice. If your office needs the invoice before it can raise the order, buy on invoice first and hand them the PDF.
Every purchase gets one, with your institution’s billing address, VAT number and purchase order reference on it. Card payments get theirs by email; on invoice you get it immediately.
MindSampler is based in Belgium. Belgian customers are charged Belgian VAT. Elsewhere in the EU, give us your institution’s VAT number and the invoice is issued without VAT under the reverse charge, which your finance office will expect. Outside the EU no VAT is charged.
